Fort Smith Dentistry Dental Team

Cassi: Clinic Coordinator

Cassi began her career as a dental assistant in 2009 and joined FSD in August 2012 working in that capacity. Desiring to expand her knowledge and experience, she asked to move to the front desk when a position opened up. That transition took place in 2014, and it soon became evident that this was a good fit for Cassi.  She has a very pleasant demeanor that patients love, and she represents our office well because she is often the first contact patients have with our office. What she enjoys most about dentistry is seeing drastic improvement in the oral health of individuals and enhancing their smiles.  Regarding FSD, she says she likes the Christian atmosphere created by her co-workers and appreciates their hard working and supportive attitudes. Cassi's interests / hobbies are spending time with her new husband, Caleb, and her son Jackson. Cassi and her family live in Rudy.

Tanya: Patient Care Coordinator

Tanya has been in the dentistry field for eight years. She joined Fort Smith Dentistry in 2014. What she loves most about the dentistry field is meeting patients and getting to know them and their families. What Tanya likes most about Fort Smith Dentistry is the joy it brings her to work with a great group of co-workers. Tanya’s hobbies include hiking and spending time at the lake with her husband, Gordon and their dog, Kozmo. Tanya and her husband live in Fort Smith.

Lindsay: Patient Care Coordinator

Lindsay has been in the dentistry field for ten years. She joined Fort Smith Dentistry in 2015. Loving to see people’s confidence grow from having a beautiful and healthy smile is what she enjoys about dentistry. Lindsay says with the great patients and great co-workers she has found a home here at FSD. She lives in Van Buren, with her husband and three sons. Her hobbies include coaching soccer for the Van Buren Boys and Girls Club and attending her boys’ sporting events.

Jimmie:  Head Dental Assistant / Clinical Coordinator

Jimmie has been in the dental field since 1995 and Dr. Stan’s head dental assistant since 2003.  From the clinical aspect, Dr. Stan describes Jimmie as his “right hand”, because of her dependability and great attention to detail.  What she likes most about dentistry is the diversity it brings with such a variety of people and procedures.  What she enjoys most about our office specifically is the fun and friendly atmosphere (which is a bit rare for dental offices). She loves the outdoors, and lives in Charleston with her husband Chad, who is a coach with the Charleston school district.

Connie: Dental Assistant

Connie has been in dentistry since 2006 and had been at Fort Smith Dentistry all that time. What she likes most about dentistry and FSD is the patient contact and seeing beautiful results. Connie lives in Van Buren with her husband. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their 3 grandchildren.

Angela:  Dental Assistant

Angela began her career in dentistry over twenty years ago but recently joined us at Fort Smith Dentistry to be an assistant for both doctors as needed. Angela came from a pediatric office so she is finding the variation exciting and challenging. Her favorite procedure is a root canal! What Angela likes most about our office is the friendly atmosphere. Angela is married with three daughters, one son and three grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her husband and spending time with family. Angela and her family live in Van Buren.

Bree: Registered Dental Assistant

Bree began her career in dentistry almost 5 years ago. She started her career in a pediatric office. Bree grew a love for dentistry and wanted to expand her knowledge. She then decided to challenge herself by switching to a general dentist office and joined our team in September 2017. What Bree loves most about our office is the team and the overall challenge of the switch. Bree thinks it’s fun because there is always something new and exciting to learn. The team is also very supportive and makes great teachers. Bree lives in Fort Smith with her husband Zack and two kids. In her spare time she loves attending sporting events and cheering on her son Maddox as well as coaching and supporting her daughter Zayklee in pageants. Bree’s favorite thing to do is spending time with her family.

Val:  Registered Dental Hygienist

Val graduated in 1976 with a BS in Dental Hygiene. She has been a dental hygienist since that time. She joined Dr. Stan in May of 2005. Val enjoys most meeting people’s needs dentally. About working at FSD, she says it is a great team to be a part of and share life. Val’s hobbies include traveling, running, gardening and working in the yard. She also spends several weeks each year on dental mission trips in Honduras.

Angie:  Registered Dental Hygienist

Angie began working as a dental hygienist for Dr. Stan in October of 2000.  She likes being in the field of dentistry because she gets to meet and work with a variety of different people in her job.  The things that she likes about this particular job and office is the fact that she gets to see the “kid” patients.  She also loves the Christian environment and friendly atmosphere.  Her hobbies include Bible study and spending time with her daughter and her husband.  She and her husband, Steve, and daughter, Leslie live in Fort Smith.

Stephanie:  Dental Hygienist

Stephanie has been working as a dental hygienist since 2015. She was inspired to go into the dental field from her love of people. She enjoys getting to know patients on a personal level as well as professionally. When she is not working she enjoys spending her time outdoors, taking short weekend trips, and hanging out with her husband, family and church family. Stephanie is expecting her first child in October 2017.

Kyra:  Dental Hygienist

Kyra graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith with her degree in dental hygiene in 2015. Since then, she has spent most of her hygiene career in Northwest Arkansas. She is from Charleston, so she is very excited to be back in the River Valley, where she is closer to all of her family and friends. Kyra enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level, and also getting to educate patients about the overall effects oral health can have on their body. When Kyra isn't working, she spends as much time as possible with her 3 year old son, Coy. They like being outdoors, going to the lake, and cheering on their favorite teams: the Charleston Tigers, and the Razorbacks!
